Editorial Independence & Ethics Policy

The Autonomy of REDACTED

At REDACTED, our editorial process is shielded from outside influence. We operate with a single objective: the dissemination of suppressed information. To maintain the purity of our reporting, we adhere to a strict set of independence protocols.

1. No Corporate or Political Affiliation

REDACTED is not a mouthpiece for any political party, government agency, or corporate conglomerate. We do not accept funding, “partnerships,” or “sponsored content” from entities that would require us to alter our findings or soften our tone. Our allegiance is to the data, not a donor.

2. Firewall Between Funding and Content

If and when this platform accepts donations or subscriptions from the public, those contributions grant the donor no influence over our investigative roadmap.

  • We do not “kill” stories to protect contributors.

  • We do not prioritize “hidden knowledge” based on the interests of our financial supporters.

3. Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Our contributors are required to disclose any personal or financial interests that could potentially bias their reporting. If a conflict of interest is identified regarding a specific investigation, the contributor is recused, or the conflict is explicitly disclosed to the reader at the top of the article.

4. Resistance to External Pressure

We understand that “hidden knowledge” is often hidden for a reason. REDACTED does not yield to legal threats, “cease and desist” orders on public interest matters, or social pressure intended to stifle a story. While we strive for factual accuracy, we will not suppress a verified truth to avoid controversy.

5. Verification Before Publication

Editorial independence does not mean a lack of oversight. Every “leak” or “hidden truth” published under the REDACTED banner undergoes a rigorous internal verification process. We do not publish rumors; we publish evidence. If we cannot find a secondary source or a forensic trail, the information is labeled as Unverified or withheld until such proof exists.

“Truth is not a matter of consensus; it is a matter of evidence. Our independence ensures that even when the consensus is wrong, the evidence remains central.” — REDACTED
